Summer Research Fellowships in the School of Natural Sciences
The School of Natural Sciences offers a variety of undergraduate summer research fellowships that provide financial support for hands-on research experiences working with Rice faculty. These fellowships vary in the level of support provided. All fellowships include a stipend to support students during their summer research, typically $600 per week for a 10-week fellowship. Fellowships with the strongest levels of support also offer funding for housing, support for the principal investigator (PI), and travel to present research at professional conferences. Financial need is taken into account when awarding the strongest levels of support.
